Event Details

Join us as we commemorate National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a gathering dedicated to education, empowerment, and community healing. This event centers on HIV prevention within Black communities, with a special focus on the unique experiences and needs of Black women, who continue to be disproportionately affected.
The event will feature community conversations and dynamic speakers designed to uplift voices, deepen understanding, and spark collaboration. Guests will enjoy artistic performances that celebrate Black joy, culture, and expression, as well as free food for all attendees. In addition, the event will host a range of community resources, including health information, local service providers, prevention materials, and support organizations that empower individuals to take charge of their well‑being.
Together, we will honor those who have lived and are living with HIV, recognizing their resilience, stories, and leadership. We will also acknowledge the incredible work that advocates, clinicians, community leaders, and organizations have already done—and provide clear direction for the work that still lies ahead in eliminating HIV-related stigma, improving access to care, and strengthening prevention efforts.
