Optimizing our Collaborative for Every(Black)Body: Aligning with Mission, Vision, & Goals

Building the processes, skills, and tools needed to be intentional and effective.

Collaboration Agreement
We honed our guidelines and expectations for collaborating with organizations doing similar work, to ensure alignment of values and priorities. The goal is to make our partnerships as effective as possible.

Operations Guidelines
Our Planning Committee is at the heart of United We Rise, so we created guidelines that detail the operating and decision making processes and membership structure. These have been instrumental in keeping our collaborative working in a goal-oriented and strategic manner.

Communications Tools
We developed a strategic communications plan, along with messaging tools, to support how we talk about UWR, raise awareness about our work, and equip our Planning Committee members with the information needed to be effective message ambassadors.

Workgroup Forum
The Workgroup Forum was designed to ensure that every member of the Planning Committee is aware of the activities taking place across UWR. It supports dialogue and fosters opportunities for Workgroups to connect with networks outside of UWR on projects where there is mutual alignment.
