AIDS Project Worcester recognizes the day to help spark conversations about HIV and highlight progress being made to reduce HIV among Black or African American people. We seek to increase awareness about HIV among Black or African American communities and encourage people to get involved in prevention efforts, get tested, and get treatment if they are living with HIV.

Our event will provide the attendees with information about the available services, potential barriers accessing those services, how to address those identified barriers, and encourage and support them to participate in sharing information among themselves in order to decrease transmission and incorporate safer sexual practices.

Community partners in the fields of primary and HIV medical care, addiction recovery, health insurance, immigrants support, LGBTQI , medication access will be present at the event. COVID-19 and MPox vaccines as well as HIV & STI testing will be available at the event. Lunch will be provided.
