Join us for an HIV cure focused conversation in commemoration of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. A cure for HIV may not be readily accessible to all people with HIV, in particular Black people, who are disproportionately impacted by HIV in the US. Black people represent approximately 13% of the US population while comprising nearly 43% of incident HIV diagnoses. Researchers and community members of the Martin Delaney Collaboratories for Research, the flagship NIH program on HIV cure research will examine principles of research equity in the context of HIV cure research.
